How many times do you receive phone calls from unknown or unwanted phone numbers. I'm sure that if you're like the majority of us, its weekly if not more often. They call or text at the most inopportune times, then when you answer, they say things that waste your time or even worse, irritate you.
There are three key ways to deal with unwanted phone calls.
2) Answer the Phone : I normally use this tactic if the caller calls back over a quite a few days without leaving a message. In this case I will answer the phone. Let the caller say a few words then interrupt them. I ask them the following questions: what is your name, who do your work for, then I say, Please place me on your do not call list. I then write down the information they told me and the time/date they called. This can be used later on with a complaint.
3) Use a Reverse Phone Directory: Often times you're still curious who the caller is who is calling, or if other people have experienced a call from this caller. Its interesting to see how often times this is the case, and others do have information on them. Use google to find a good reverse directory to use to lookup the number and even post a complaint.
In fact, I received a text message this morning from someone that I had no idea who they were. I've received two unknown messages over the past few days, though they were from different phone numbers I'm still curious who they really are. One of the best ways is to use a reverse phone directory.
