It seems that almost every night, at the most inopportune time we get calls from telemarketers -- you may also get calls from debt collectors, wrong numbers, harassing callers that routinely call you. It makes it much easier to deal with these types of calls when we know who they are and ideally to find out the experiences of others who've also received these calls.
Look them Up: When you get a phone call from someone you don't recognize, don't answer it. Let it ring and let them leave a voicemail. If its important they will leave a voicemail and you can determine whether you want to return the call. If they don't leave a voicemail or do but they just say their name and request a call back, then you may want to do a reverse lookup of the phone number to determine who they are.
Use a Free Directory: There are many types of a reverse phone directory on the internet today. Many of them either charge you money or may be inaccurate. The best way to lookup a phone number and find out who is calling you is to use a free reverse phone directory.
